Reader gives multiple solutions for to verify and identify a physical credential or a soft token stored in user’s smartphone or smartwatch application. To achieve a touchless 2-factor protected authentication process it is also possible to enter users personal PIN code on users’ mobile phone or smartwatch to avoid of touching public mechanical keypad. QR Code for visitor access control
QR code & Barcode scanner gives an convenient no touch access control solution to manage your temporary visitor access. It’s easy and cost-save way to invite your visitor by sending an encrypted QR code to visitor’s personal smart phone or email on the air, and you can also program the visitor’s QR code with limited times, available date and specific doors. It’s no need for temporary visitor to download any APP or take physical smart card, just open the QR Code displayed on smart phone or printed badge to unlock door.
RFID multi-technology smart card
4-in-1 access control reader support dual frequency 125KHz LF & 13.56MHz high-frequency HF cards, compatible to full range of smart cards including Mifare® Classic, DESFire® EV1/EV2/EV3, Mifare® Plus, Ultralight and ISO14443B smart cards. Simply tap access card to the reader and unlock door or clock-in.
The touchless access control reader features a contact card socket which is designed to read Secure Access Module's (SAM's) embedded on a SIM-card sized contact chip. It is compatible with SAM AV2 which gives the possibility to further increase the security of storing encryption keys (Evaluation Assurance Level, EAL5+) and also allows for diversification of encryption keys. Using diversified keys means that each card in the card population will have its own unique encryption key and not share the same encryption key across the whole card population.
The array of communication protocols available makes the reader extremely versatile and can be installed in most physical access control systems without any additional plug-in modules. The Open Supervised Device Protocol, OSDP™ is a bidirectional communication protocol developed by SIA (Security Industry Association) which provides continuous monitoring of the reader but if applied it also enables AES128 encrypted communication between the reader and the controller. This so called "Secure Channel" is available in access control readers.
